Paramotoring Courses at Gap Tallard, France

This is a one week trip and the training normally takes 5 days (With an overrun day on the Saturday if required). This region of southern France is famous for its reliable weather and is the home of not only the Backbone Paragliding School, but also Pegasus (Europe) one of the UK’s leading microlight schools.
Pilots can expect to learn all the skills they need to fly one of these amazing machines safely in beautiful surroundings, on state of the art equipment, with one of Europes’ most experienced instructors,- a vast improvement on struggling with the British weather

Why do it in France?
The weather patterns can make attaining a paramotor rating a drawn out and frustrating procedure with unsuitable days interrupting steady progress through the syllabus. By running courses in the very reliable conditions found in this area of France, we can offer a fastrack approach to learning, and having a great holiday to boot ! We pick you up from the airport, teach you to fly in a great place and drop you back again at the end of the week.

Who can take part?
It is much easier to progress quickly if you have a basic grounding in launch, flights with turns and landing approaches, so we strongly recommend that participants are at least Elementary pilot standard.

If you are a beginner we can supply suitable pre-course training in the Uk before you leave. Please ask us for prices & details.

Clearly the more flying experience you have the quicker and easier your progress will be.
